DoorKing Introduces IP Addressable 1812 AccessPLUS™

Inglewood, CA – DoorKing has introduced the 1812 AccessPLUS Telephone Entry and Access Control System to the market. The new AccessPLUS version expands the product offerings of the company’s very popular 1812 series of telephone intercom systems. The new 1812 AccessPLUS features visitor communication via auto-dialing or intercom mode, card access, live monitoring, live door control and is IP addressable for programming via LAN/WAN or an internet connection.

1812 AccessPLUS Telephone Entry and Access Control System

The new 1812 AccessPLUS is a true “hybrid” system that can be used to establish voice communication in both residential and commercial applications as either an auto-dialer system or a telephone intercom system. The 1812 AccessPLUS will store up to 27 phone numbers when used in the auto-dialer mode, or it can communicate with up to 23 tenants when used as a “No Phone Bill” telephone intercom system. In addition to the voice communication feature, the 1812 AccessPLUS can also serve as a card access system with the capability of connecting up to six card readers to the system via RS-485 protocol.

Additional outstanding features include door lock / unlock schedules, live door monitoring and the ability to lock or unlock a door with the click of a mouse. The 1812 AccessPLUS is IP addressable, using TC/PIP communication for programming via modem, LAN or an Internet connection. The unit comes with powerful and easy to use programming software which allows programming administrators to set up door lock and unlock schedules, assign up to 10 “temporary” access codes and gives them the ability to monitor and provide real time command of access points. Richard Sedivy, DoorKing’s Director of Marketing stated, “Our distributors and dealers are going to love this new hybrid system. They’ll be able to stock a single item that can be used in a variety of applications with many unique features. And with the intuitive and easy to use software that comes with the 1812 AccessPLUS, system administrators and homeowners can monitor their doors and gates, lock or unlock them with a click of the mouse and can even set the unit to provide email notification on selected events.”
