D&D Announces New Product Release

D&D Technologies has developed nearly 100 innovative gate hardware products since the late ‘80s. Products are designed and manufactured from super-strong engineering polymers in the company’s own facilities, ensuring the highest quality control.

The company’s latest innovation, the T-Latch®, is now in stock and available for shipment.

D&D Senior VP Sales & Marketing Jim Paterson says, “The T-Latch is a versatile, economical floating style gravity latch that outperforms similar latches in numerous ways.

“The T-Latch’s unique toggle-action is remarkably simple and effective,” Paterson adds.

“The floating-style latch bolt toggles vertically to automatically compensate for gate sag and ground movement. The latch is both vertically and horizontally adjustable and has one of our largest horizontal gap variances at 3/8” to 1.3/4”. From our product comparisons, we feel it is one of the most adjustable entry-level gate latches in the world, and as an added bonus, it’s quick and easy to install. The T-Latch is designed to fit any square post metal, vinyl and wood gates.

“Most D&D latches have built-in key locks,” Paterson says, “but as this product was designed as a lower-cost alternative, the T-Latch is locked with the use of a padlock.

“There are innovative features in this new design that makes the T-Latch far superior to ordinary gravity latches,” Paterson says. “Among the advantages are the ability to automatically compensate for gate sag, vertical and horizontal adjustability and a built-in padlock storage feature. Coupled with the product’s stainless steel latch bolt, this latch is built to last.”
