2010 Regional Trade Show coming to Newport RI

The AFA Northeast Chapter trade show and seminar are coming to Newport RI this January 22 and 23rd. The show is being held at the Hyatt Regency Newport.

Educational Seminars

Sales Training Seminar – (2 Sessions) This Sales Training Seminar will cover some of the topics contained in the highly acclaimed AFA Sales Training School. You will leave this seminar with very valuable education that you will be able to implement immediately into your sales presentations. The seminar will also provide additional information on other topics contained in the AFA Sales Training School.
Search Engine Optimization Seminar – (2 Sessions) Ray Pearson, Owner and President, of Software Design will provide critical information and techniques for use on your website to ensure you are optimizing search engine results.
Successful Commercial Contracting Seminar– (2 Sessions) Learn from a panel of experts what the key requirements are to become a successful commercial contractor. Our seminar will be Moderated by Michael Saliba Owner and President of Hastie Fence of Agawam, MA. The panel will included industry leaders from the Banking, Bonding and Insurance industry.

A Certified Fence Professional(CFP)will have a good understanding of specifications, product quality and installationtechniques that will help assure a first-class product for the consumer. A CFP must meet continuing education requirements as well as industry service requirements to maintain this certification. Certified Gate Operator Installer (CAGOI) Exam 1:00 PM–5:00 PM $250

The Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer is a nationally recognized certification, sponsored by the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA). Exam applicants will be charged a $250 fee by IDEA, which administers the certification. AFA members registering and submitting the required payment to IDEA will receive a Self Study Guide from IDEA and a $50 rebate check from AFA.

Friday Night Event
